The sketch this week gives me an optical "delusion".
This is the sketch for the DOstamper Stars challenge:
Since the circle appears to go off of the card, I decided to try one of those cards where there is an imaginary edge.I don't know what this technique is called, but it is like those California swimming pools that look like the water on one side is held by a "magical force". (I have seen them only on T.V.). If you know the name of this technique, please leave a response. I would love to know how to really do it, and what it is called! Anyway, I gave it a go:
I used the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper, with Cajun Craze and Mint Macaron card stock. The visual effect is achieved by using a Window Sheet. I also used a 2" circle punch and the Confetti Stars Border punch to frame the flower. Of course the flower is from the Botanical Builder Framelits dies. I did not use a sentiment, but did try out my Envelope Liners Framelits to decorate my "envie".
