This week on the DOstamper stars challenge, there is a sketch:
I am caught in transition from one catalog to the next, so the "ovals" that I used, are from the old catalog. I'm sure the newer set would work just nicely, and you get MORE ovals with which to work! Catalog #141706. I opted for a shorter banner, since the sentiment is the focal point. I wanted the background to vie for attention, so I stamped many flowers, added color, punched them, then popped 'em up on dimensionals. I also used the leaf stamp from the set as a background filler.
Check it out:
Colors used = (New "In" colors) Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sugarplum, Emerald Envy, plus Basic Black and Daffodil Delight
Card stock = Thick Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo
Stamp sets = Friendly Wishes, and Grateful Bunch
Accessories = Oval dies, Blossom Bunch Punch, Duet Banner Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Here are the efforts of my fellow STARS:
Hope you have enjoyed our creativity!

Great card-it sort of reminds me of the flower crowns that are so trendy!
