This week, the challenge for the DOstamper STARS is a sketch:
This is my favorite layout when my mojo is slow. You can put any stamp, or partial stamped image in the squares. Then use DSP for the background, or use a sentiment stamp, and you have a finished card!
Today, I decided to elongate the squares, and include a partial image stamp by simply cutting the design into three parts. I then went asymmetrical with the winter hat, and the sentiment. It looked a little too imbalanced, so I added a double, Baker's Twine, bow. In retrospect, I probably could have lowered the sentiment, and not needed the bow. What do you think?
Here are the efforts of my fellow STARS:
- Sharon Bennett
- Connie Plaumann
- Dawn Olchefske
- Joan Weidling
- Angela O'Neill - that's me!
- Michelle Harrington
- Miriam Bollinger
- Dawn Thomas
- Judy Strickling
- Robyn Rasset
Thank you for joining us today. See you next week!
