Time for another DOstamper STARS Thursday Challenge:
This is the way I see it:
Used a lot of neutrals for this card, so it may be considered somewhat masculine. The technique for the background is to use Glossy Card stock, and Sponge Daubers with a straight edge (cardboard). I got the idea from Patty Bennett's blog @ Pattystamps.com. The Soft Sky (blue) stripes are a little weak... In retrospect, I probably should have chosen a bolder blue, like Island Indigo. The Vellum card stock is difficult on which to stamp. (I am also known as the"shaky" stamper!) After 10 or 12 tries, I gave up and covered the "wiggle of the "L" with a heart. Wish that Stamping Up still had the crumb cake envelopes, too!
Hope you enjoy this card. Until next time!
Angela
